Drawing inspiration from Lou’s grandmother Bibiana, Bibi Lou shoes blend classic silhouettes like mules, loafers and oxfords with artistic details and vibrant colors. The shoes are still handmade locally in Spain using fine leathers and expert artisan techniques.

Our shoes are proudly handcrafted in Spain. Our workshop is located in Barcelona where our skilled local artisans cut, stitch, and finish each pair. We take great pride in supporting the generations of shoemaking expertise in Spain.

We use high quality leathers from Italy including full-grain nubucks, buttery soft nappa, and rich suedes. Our linings are made of supple calfskin leather. Outsoles are durable rubber compounds. We also incorporate precious metals like 18k gold and sterling silver for accents.

Absolutely! Comfort is paramount so we use cushioned insoles, padded footbeds, and flexible soles. Our shoes are expertly designed to support your feet across a variety of activities. Many styles have adjustable straps for a truly customized fit.

Our shoes fit true to size. However, we recommend ordering a half size up if you have wider feet. Certain styles with pointed toes run small so we suggest sizing up. Reach out to our fit experts for personalized advice.

We recommend following the care instructions included with each pair. In general, store in the provided dust bags, stuff with tissue paper to retain shape, and use cedar shoe trees. Our shoes can be gently wiped clean as needed. Protect suede and nubuck leathers with appropriate spray.

Currently we do not offer vegan shoes as our collections are made of Italian leather. We are exploring vegan materials options for future designs - please check back!
